Fall Fun!!!!

WOW!  We had an incredible Fall Break!  We jammed so much into one week, it is just crazy!  I am exhausted AND had to go back to work, Boo!  We did have fun and that is all that matters!  We went to the Beach for most of the week!  We had beautiful weather!  We are totally beach people!  Once we get out on the sand there is no turning back.  We sent daddy in to even fix our lunch!  I would totally live at the beach if we could!  I am sooo glad Jackson loves it as much as we do.
\We hit up Pier Park!  Jackson loves to ride the train.  We even decided to buy him a train pass so he could ride the train all year.  I think it is totally worth it since every time we ride it is $5 for him and $5 dollars for an adult-we probably have spent $50 in the last couple of months on that thing.

We were lucky enough to visit some of our sweet friends while we where there!  Lets just say they were checking out the beach babies left and right.  They couldn't keep there eyes off of them.  I can't imagine what it will be like in about 16 years-I am already worried! Ha!

We enjoyed a wonderful meal at the Old Florida Fish House! It was sooo good!  These are the handsome boys! Landon, Owen, and Jackson

This is my best friends little boy Owen!  Aren't they adorable?  Rachel, his mom, and I grew up together. I am so thankful that they live across the street and we get to raise our little boys together-it is truly a blessing!

This is Jackson's beautiful cousins, Marah and Jonathan.  They were at the beach too!  They are the sweetest and prettiest children I think I have ever known!  I might be a little biased because I AM their aunt.  They absolutely adore Jackson and vice versa!  Love this picture!  This, to me, captures the sweet innocence of childhood!  Precious!  Also, we had the wonderful Mattox Photography come down and take some pictures of all the kiddos at St. Andrews, I can't wait to get them back!  I know they will be beautiful!  They always, always do such a wonderful job!

Sweet cousins laying on the beach!  I love these boys!

My mom and dad came down to the beach too.  Jackson adores his Nana!  My mother would kill me if she knew I put this picture of her on here!  Thank goodness she only knows how to work a cell phone-that would only include dialing a number! Ha! She says she does not know how to "work" facebook or blogs!

I think I am going to kill my husband, he was in charge of putting these pictures on here and I totally didn't want one of me in a swimsuit!  Oh well, it is cute of Jackson!

More of Jackson posing on the train!  He love this ride!   This is our little family at Pier Park!

We attended the Headland Harvest Day the first weekend of Fall Break.  These pictures were taken the weekend before the beach!  We had a wonderful time walking around the square checking out all the vendors booths!  It was sooo HOT! I love living in a small town!  I love how everybody knows everyone, the old buildings and cottage style houses, and all the little unique shops you find here!  It is southern hospitality at its best!  I grew up in Dothan, only a mere 7 miles away, but it just has a different feel here-more laidback-simple!  I love being able to take Jackson to our neighbors yard and let hem see the tractor pick cotton. Even though I don't know many people here, I love being able to raise my child it such a great "little" town!

Jackson, He love a train ride!  I could hardly get him off that thing!  We had to ride twice!  I am glad they only charged us $2 a ride!  That definitely beats those steep Pier Park prices, and they didn't even charge me to ride!  It's that small town thing I guess!

I had to get some pictures of Jackson posing with all the Fall decorations!  He did really great sitting on all that itchy hay so I could get some beautiful pictures!  Happy Fall!  I love my little pumpkin!

These "shoes" were made for walking....and Boys and their toys

Wow!  We had a wonderful weekend!  They always seem to pass by so quick!  We let Daddy sleep in Saturday morning, so I decided to go ahead and dress Jackson before V woke up.  I knew that he would want to dress Jackson in some beautiful orange and blue just not AU orange and blue.  It is only fair that Jackson has the opportunity to wear his Auburn outfit since last weekend I allowed him to wear his Gator jon jon.

The outfit must have brought good luck because Auburn had another win!  War eagle!

Jackson LOVES, LOVES wearing our shoes around the house!  This is his new favorite thing to do!  As I was making the bed and folding clothes this is what I found-my little helper wearing his Daddy's shoes!  I thought he was going to break an ankle but he is a tough little guy and wore them for about 30 minutes!  Who needs expensive toys ?

He didn't want to hurt momma's feelings so he went into our closet and pulled out a pair of my flip flops.  He decided he would give those a test run too!

Jackson loves being outside so we bought him a four-wheeler just like daddy's (same color and brand!) Ha Ha!  He wasn't quite sure about it at first but once he got the hang of it he was off!  He pitched a fit when we had to go inside!

Saturday night, my friends, Rachel, Kristie, and I, went to a contemporary Christian concert at Ridgecrest!  It was soo good !  I have always wished I could sing! No such luck!  However, God doesn't care how I sound, so I sung my little heart out and didn't care who heard my terrible voice.  It is soo powerful to be in a place where you just feel the Holy Spirit all around as you praise Our Savior!  It was amazing!  We left the concert at 10:00 all three of us were yawning-we are not used to staying up that late!  I feel really old!  While I was gone, V took Jackson to Kristie's house so Jackson and their little boy, Landon, could play!  Rachel-Jackson missed seeing his other buddy Owen-I hope he feels better!  I am so thankful that Jackson has such a wonderful daddy that spends so much time with him and is constantly teaching him values that hopefully he will remember as he grows up!  I pray every night that he seeks God's will for his little life-because the road is so narrow!  Hope everyone has a wonderful week!  Enjoy the pics!

I am now officially a Blogger!

I DID IT!  I started a blog of my own!  I can hardly believe it myself!  I have always enjoyed reading other blogs (even people I don't Know) - I guess that would make me a blog stalker right? Ha Ha!

I have wanted to create a blog of my own for some time now, mainly to capture all of the LITTLE THINGS that go on in the Rillano household.  We are a family of four: myself, my husband ("V"),  baby Jackson, and let's not forget Bella (our lil weiner dog).

I started Jackson a baby book even before he was born and I was very diligent writing in it every month.  However, I stopped writing in it when he turned a year old.  I felt that I needed to do something more personal-something that truly told the story of our lives. Hopefully, something that he can look back on one day and read and keep as a treasure of his childhood.  I want to document our LITTLE life-I forget so often of all the memories we are making!  Hopefully, this way will help me organize everything we experience as a family!

SOOO on to the important stuff!
Our baby boy is not so much a baby anymore!  He is 16 months old and I can hardly believe it- it feels like just yesterday we were trying to have a baby, now we have a toddler!  I love every minute of being a momma-he melts my heart everytime he looks at me with those big brown eyes.

Jackson you are 16 months old
You have 6 teeth( 4 on top and 2 on the bottom)
You wear a size 4 diaper( as of last week)
You are getting really good at talking-you can say da da, Bella, CC, tractor, and just this week he is saying momma and pointing at me!  I thought you would never say it-You really love your daddy.
Also, you can say milk(kinda like mama over and over again.)
You point at everything and say  sthat (he is saying whats that) and huh! We are working on ma'am!

You can point to head, tummy, eyes, ear, arm, nose, hiney, and your favorite is Belly Button.  You love to find momma and daddy's too!

You are such a happy baby. Your laughter lights up the room.  You love to chase us around the house, play peep eye, and call Bella and pull her tail!

Oh my goodness you absolutely love being outside:  You pitch a fit to ride Granddaddy's tractor and golf cart-all boy!

You are our LITTLE blessing and we love you so much!

We are definitely Remembering the LITTLE THINGS because one day they will become the BIG THINGS!

Here are some pics of you @ 16 months old!

We love you Jackson!   More to come.....
